What is the Washington County Free Library worth to you?

Help Build Our Community

The State of Maryland, Washington County, and the City of Hagerstown have pledged most-but not all-of the $24 million needed for the reconstruction of the Washington County Free Library.

The businesses and citizens of Washington County are being asked to participate in the Building Our Great Good Place capital campaign. The Campaign has been asked to raise $3.0 million to complete the project. These funds will allow the library to bring the latest information technologies, such as e-readers, expanded public access computers, expanded self service capabilities, enhanced security, and state-of-the-art library management systems to Washington County. All of these will work together to enhance the patron's experience.

Gifts

Sponsorship of rooms is one way to participate in the Building Our Great Good Place capital campaign. Pledges of financial support of $5,000 or more payable over a five year period are extended the privilege of naming the room being sponsored.
